Inverted Front Shocks

Why do they not put the inverted front shocks on the FZ6. They put it on every other model sportbike they have. If the pics of the 2009 model on here is true then they didnt do it on 09 either. Anybody with any suggestions why they dont?

Cost is all I can think of? I mean the fz6 is a sweet bike for $7K list.
