So did I get a good deal or what?

:D

Can't wait to join you guys for a ride. I just gotta register it this Monday.

PS-I just had to share my awesome day with you guys.

I got my '05 FZ6 for $AU5500.

Sure, different markets, but the value remains.

I was prepared to spend roughly 10% of my annual salary for an older machine, albeit in pristine condition, and still feel like I got an excellent deal. (insured value is $7200)

Cheers,
Rick

thanks guys!

I can't wait to get it registered. I am super happy about the bike.

I love the upright sitting position. there's no comparison to my brother's Suzuki Bandit.

I bought my 06 with just 749 miles, couple weeks ago. i paid $4200, everything like new. he kept it in garage, so it looked like his wife doesnt like any bike. then he has to sell it. i took twice to work and i did around 300 miles, so it were just two days. I love this bike, but MPG is not really good i think. it looks like 40 MPG on my, but i am new driver so i need more experience in use FZ6. :)
i am still learning.

NICE! you should definitely come out on one of our rides!

i bought my bike ('05) w/ 3500miles last year for about the same price u got urs for and now im close to ur mileage 14K lol

Definitely a good deal. Hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the exhaust is stock?

I don't know actually what brand the aftermarket exhaust is. I don't particularly care about the mod either, haha.

But the previous owner gave me the stock exhaust to. It's really heavy.

The currently installed aftermarket one is kind of too loud for me. I don't buy into the whole argument of "if it's loud, they will see/hear me coming" safety precaution so I might switch back to the stock one.

It's kind of annoying if I hear the roar of the pipes while constantly riding.

I definitely will.

I am finishing up the last semester at school so that takes precedence right now.

but as soon as it ends I will be super happy to meet up with you guys.
I will bring my brother and his Bandit too;)
