I will confess. I having thoughts about trading my beloved 08 FZ6N in.
Now i should point out

-No, i am not having a baby

-Yes i am buying another bike

-No, it will NOT be a Harley or a Dual-Sport

-Yes, it will probably be another Yami

Now while i am in no way unhappy with my ride I am merely looking at trading her while she is still worth something.
I am also looking to have something with a few more CC's (for track days and overtaking sprints) but i still want a naked/semi naked with straightish bars (as i love the comfy posture of my current ride)

So, at this stage i am looking at either a new Speed Triple, Z1000ABS, or a new FZ1N with some mods (eg. that stock can is beyond ugly)

Thoughts anyone?

Speed 3 - Mike is selling his at the moment. Never quite did it for him - always something not right. Could never put his finger on it.
Z1000 - can't comment but I have always had a soft spot for Kwakas
FZ1 - I would recommend this - Yamaha are fantastic quality

Speed 3 - Mikes was a 09 but I think 11 has only cosmetic differences.

FZ 6 - you've got my bike - colour etc. Keep it and buy a second bike.

Good luck

Yeh Kaz i wish i could keep it. But cant really justify the running costs of both.

Although that said the other option of course was to keep the current ride and run it into the ground (or so to speak)
She has 34k on her now and as she is my daily i am putting around 25k a year on her.
I saw this as a chance to trade up while she still has some value

Z1000....nice but not built as good as a Yammie...Triumph...same!

Go the FZ1....everyone i know who owns one, just freaking loves their bike.....

Plus the FZ1 will leave both of those bikes in it's dust, when things get serious!
