Exhaust cover

Here is my newest mod I did this weekend. I have Leovince exhausts and I didn't like that the left silencer is shorter and doesn't reach to the black plastic cover. I decided to modify the original plasic exhaust cover since it was only laying around in the garage anyway. (as always the Dremel tool is your best friend here)

This is how it looked before

First I have cut out the rear side of the exhaust cover, put it back into the Grab rail and fixed it wit tape.

Now I have marked the cover with black tape so I knew where to cut

I have cut the lower side of the cover following the tape. I had to modify the back side aswell to make it fit in between the exhaust pipes. You may have to run to the bike and try if it fits a few times.

It was also necessary to cut out two holes on the top side because the exhaust mount is wider than the stock one.

I smoothed out the edges with sandpaper. I should have painted them silver, but unfortunately I didn't have any paint so it will have to do for now.
