I remember when Wayne Gardner did the same thing, he kept the panel shop busy. There was agreat cartoon in magazine back then of the v8 pits waiting for the guys to pit, every pit had tyres and fuel ready where gardners pit had guards and spoilers.

Not surprised. He was always overally scared of his physical safety racing motorcycles against Rossi. Maybe he will feel braver to do the hard racing now that he had the added protecting of a cage.
