Stock tires, 3,500 miles, they look and ride awesome, 100 mph out of turns easy.I am very happy with them, just about progression, and of course Yamaha does not put the most premium tires on stock bikes, they are good, but can be upgraded of course. I do not want to replace them because I want my moneys worth, but I ride too aggressively to take a chance with a plugged tire.
The way I see it you should tailor your parts to fit your riding style, but I am pretty sure these tires are more than enough for beg to med riders, probably even pros ride em till they wear out.
