Battery current drain

I recently changed my battery along with removing datatool alarm. While doing it I attached a simple multimeter and measured the current when the bike,is off.
Without alarm

With alarm armed

What do You think? Am I reading it right - 0.25mA for no alarm and 8mA with the alarm?

I believe you have the reading right. .25 ma seems OK for the clock.

Mine was at 5.0 mA... 8 shouldn't be show stopper!
As seen with Fluke 187...
10Ahr battery loosing 0.0005A equates to this:
10Ahr/0.0005A = 20,000 hrs <How long it could run from battery

20,000hrs/24hrs day = 833 days to kill that battery
