Let me know if you want to know anything else.
Hello all,
Sorry to post this in the UK section, but as im selling to UK only this is the most appropriate board I think..
I have recently made the decision to trade in the trusty FZ6 for something newer, as i'm part exchanging my bike they prefer it standard, as a result i'm selling all...
Sounds good, Im sure people will be lapping me but I guess the way I am looking at it is that i'm not going there to try and keep up with the others, I'm there purely to enjoy the nice corners without the fear of a car pulling out. Also on a plus side 2 of my friends (also track day virgins) are...
Thanks for all the feedback, very useful tips, I will be taking the GoPro so I will for sure upload some videos all going well!
Has anyone out there in the UK ever ridden on Silverstone or Castlecombe before? Any feedback regarding which track to visit?
Hey all, having been a keen rider for 3 years now I am looking to do my first track day, I have my 2 piece leathers now and I am just looking at which track to go to. I currently have an FZ6 so it should be great fun on a track, anyone have some experience of taking one on the track?
Track...
I tried a few more mounts in this video, I mounted suction cup on the fuel tank looking through the windshield, mounted to the side of the tank using the suction cup and hanging off to the right of the bike, and then mounted on the mirror arm using seat tube mount facing back on me
Motorbike...
I may try this position with an adhesive mount so I don't need to drill holes into the fairing. Should achieve the same shot, will update as to how it goes soon. Thanks for the inspiration.
I had this before also, have you been riding in heavy rain or washed it recently? When mine did it I checked everything, and couldn't find a problem. Then I read somewhere else that other people had the same problem usually after a ride in heavy rain. So I let it dry out over a couple of days...
I haven't yet leaned the bike over seriously yet with the Center stand mounted camera, I leaned it over a bit maybe 30 degrees or so when standing on flat road and the camera still had a bit or clearance. In my video it wasn't too far out from the Center line of the bike, I guess if you stick it...
Great videos and angles guys :) Gettings some good ideas of new places to put the camera.
I have a number of other positions tested on this video, no pictures of how i mounted them yet but it either uses the suction cup mount, or the handlebar / seatpost mount (both gopro official mounts)...
Nice assortment of mountings nsap! I have tried the suction mount on the side of the tank and the top (results are pretty much same as yours) I never thought of position 3 though under the side rear fairing. Will give that one a shot.
I found that the suction cup mount (official gopro one) is...
Hey all,
Following the success of my other video post I thought I would start a thread on camera (GoPro, Countour HD etc..) mounting positions on the FZ6. I am currently experimenting with where to stick the camera so I plan to post these tests and share them with other enthusiast video...
I was taught to ride defensively, so I kept an out position until I could see he was making the over take upon where I gave him more space and moved in, my fear is that if I keep close to the kerb before he moved to overtake that this would encourage him to try overtake in a smaller space as the...
