Top speed on the FZ6? 187 MPH with plenty left and I wasn't really even trying. Actually, it was an accident as I wasn't paying attention. You know how it can happen. Reminds of the 150 lb. trout I caught once. It was on salmon eggs with a drop of WD-40. Later that day, I hit a 1.75 million USD jackpot...all on my very first play on the slot machine.

To notice a relative small speedo offset at vmax. I often see other people have more. But I have a ABS machine, which reads the speed from the wheel (ABS sensor), not the gearbox.

Running SHELL ROTELLA synthetic, I was in the 180 MPH range but, unfortunately, had to shut down----didn't want to blow past two CHP units up ahead and risk a ticket.

I've only had this bike to 130 mph so far. (It seemed to have plenty left) I'm trying to hold off until it hits it's first 1000 miles. From everything I've read a heavy 150 seems to be about the average top end.
I've had it 125 two-up.

Any mods on your bike at all, to get up to 180mph on an FZ6? Apart from the oil, that is.
