I'm from Thunder Bay Ontario and was wondering if anyone was around me that had a bike for sale? It's my first bike so nothing too fast, im sure most of you know what a new rider can handle.

I've got around 4g so if anyone has anything shoot me a msg

Thanks, Mike

Ya don't need a 600 anything if your a new rider save 2500 spend 1500 and get a 250 ninja or a buell blast. You'll thank me and everyone else later

Moving thread from - Wanted to Sell to Wanted to Buy forum :)

And what they said ^^^^^ ride a bike first - 250 might be a better option for your first bike.

Yeah, I wish I hadn't started on a 600. If you do get a 600... Do yourself a favor and take the class first, then get Kieth Code's book and read it before you get on the 600. And each day before you get on the bike think "What do I want to learn today?" and practice that until you have Kieth's cornering rules memorized and mastered. And always keep trying to improve.

And seriously, if you get a 600, don't get a 600 with a "R" in the name for your first bike.

Alright im gonna look for a 250 ninja then. I have found quite a few but the price range is from 2000-3500... Say a mint condition 2009 250 Ninja with 10000 miles on it for 3500, Good Deal?

Also just found in my area

Make Honda
Model CBR
Year 2008
Kilometers 5400
Engine Displacement (cc) 125
Colour White

pictures look clean, offer him 2000$ is it a good deal?

The 125 cc will be okay but you'll want at least the 250 cc bike...

The new ninja 250s retail for around 4,000. So 3,500 isnt a "steal" but it might be worth it depending on how its been taken care of. Since you probably will want to resell it eventually to make your money back on it and upgrade to a larger bike (when you are ready), maybe you should shoot for something with lower miles.

Good luck with the search :D
