Ridgeback
Wakin up the neighbours
I was driving 25ft long,1/4 ton piling sheets into the ground 10 years ago using a 27 ton 360 excavator with a pair of jaws where the bucket should have been.
The chain that held the sheets upright snapped and a sheet toppled backwards straight through the unprotected glass area of the cab.
Result, broken collarbone,wrist,arm,3 ribs oh and it severed my foot off through the Tibular and Fibular. They reconstructed it using Ti plates and pins. took 8 months before I could walk properly.
funny thing was that the only thing stopping my foot completely falling off,was my Achilles tendon...Which I have just buggered...On the same foot..
