Been two days now since I got out on the bike. I'm getting kinda tetchy, even went looking for a cheroot earlier, managed to refrain as that particular avenue of pleasure is also closed. Weather forecast for tomorrow is dire, torrential rain & flooding expected.

I think I'll take to drink for the time being :O)

It's not the weather specifically that's stopping me. I bought Buffalo textile gear (from J & S, got a great deal) that's proved to be plenty waterproof over the last couple of months.

Just had loads of work on, family stuff at home. Got the old dear coming round for dinner tonight - it is her birthday - etc.

Should be able to get out tomorrow. Yippee :O)
