Whistler Ride - September 5th - 10am

Hello All,

I'm planning on a ride to Whistler BC from Burnaby BC on Saturday September 5th, 2009 starting at 10am (if it does not rain). Just an easy cruise. All skill levels are welcome. No pressure. Just an opportunity to get to know local riders.

Everyone is welcome to come. The more the better.

Basically the ride is up to Whistler with most likely a stop in Squamish to stretch and fuel. While up in Whistler, probably lunch and 1-2 hour visit (at the most) to the Whistler Village.

Starting point is the Shell Gasoline Station, technical name "Freeway Shell" at 4505 Canada Way, Burnaby BC. (located at Canada Way and Willingdon, see attached map).

Again, everyone is welcome to come. I will be at the Shell Station a bit before 10am fueling up and leaving sharply at 10am.

I will be riding a 2008 FZ6 (Raven) and my name is Eric.

Well... I'm sorry to say, but it looks like its' going to rain this Saturday, therefore we'll have to cancel this noted ride.

However, I'd like to setup another ride ASAP for riders here.

For all of you interested in this ride to Whistler or one very similar to it in the lower mainland of BC, when would be good for you?

Maybe we can get a consensus and organize a date within the next month?

Please respond if your interested and when (date / time) would be good for you?
