looks like you ran over the barf on the road......if you want to feel better, do open the front sprocket cover and wipe it cleanly with a wet cloth....

i dont believe the it came from the fz

Well I have let the bike cool.

and gone had a prod and a poke.

It is indeed chain lube... Well feels like it anyway...

Its just chain lube. i had the same some days after i bought mine, nothing to be worried about
