what should the engine tempture be at?

I agree with jman. In stop and go traffic or slow travel in low gears mine runs 200 plus. Out in the open with more air the temp goes down.

God this Fahrenheit is difficult to understand!!! haha.

Mine was 72 (161F) to 74 (165F) degrees Celcius normally but since I changed the oil its about 80 (176F).

Sitting in traffic it gets to over 100 celcius (212F).

Bloody heck...Celcius is easier to understand!! :p 0 = water freezes and 100 = water boils...haha...

Scorph, I agree celcius is easier... but when do we ever do anything the easy way?
Mine cruising (~90F outside temp) is around 187F sitting at a light once, I watched it climb to 230F! That when I realised that my fan wasn't working... I think around 235 the number will start to blink that is when you know you are overheating.

And in case you weren't sure... overheating=BAD
