What happened to your starter motor?

My bike hit n miss starting. The garage who done by MOT thought it might be starter motor. Gonna take her to our local yammy dealer to sort it out.

the problem is it can be fine for weeks and then out of the blue wont start!

Hopefully Ian Bell will get to the bottom of it!

so what did you find out? My bike started to not start every time either after this long winter,I forgot to plug in the battery tender and it killed the battery, I charged this battery and it has no problem starting cold but when warmed up it won't. My internet research tells me that once battery is drained, it is never the same again and a new one is strongly suggested to buy, which is my next step.
