Heres a couple of routes I threw together using the routes from Promotor:

Friday

Saturday

Sunday

They're all a bit too short but I can always extend/change them if anyone else has any good tips about this area :thumbup:

Here's a route someone from another forum suggested. This route goes past Battle (1066 and all that) and leeds castle, but also stops at wessons cafe and box hill cafe both well known biker cafes. I'm not convinced that the busier roads would be worth while just to visit the box hill cafe but If anyone has any idea's please let me know :thumbup:

Many thanks Gary, I put in the coordinates and I came up with this route I'm not too sure how the route around herstmonceux should go (as it now doubles back on itself).
It'll be great to see you and Jim again, hopefully the weather will be better than the last time we did a ride together :thumbup:

O yeh so it does.I forgot it would take you to the village centre,we would need to take wartling road turn off and pass by Herstmonceux castle. :thumbup:.

I just now stumbled upon this thread. I'll be keeping an eye on it, cuz it sure looks tempting (as long as you wouldn't mind having a FJR rider on board ) I'll let you guys work out the date, and then I'll see if I can make it. Nice initiative!

I was wondering if you knew a nice place to stop for a drink somewhere around Antwerp/Gent without travelling too far from the motorway (and preferably not a motorway cafe) it would be nice to break up the ride from home, cheers.

I've booked up 2 rooms at Kipps hostel, a double and a triple room, the double room is for Ronald and his wife and the triple for Mike, Frank and myself, as these are the only guys who have (up to now) confirmed they will be staying over on the Friday and Saturday (I payed a 10% downpayment to book it).
There is plenty of space at the hostel at the moment, but the later it's booked the less space there will be, of course.

I'm really looking forward to september :rockon:

unfortunately I couldn't manage that for a long weekend, who knows maybe another year. I'm sure if you asked there'll be some guys from the UK interested in a Northern UK ride :thumbup:
