ticking-buzzing noise

Hi all,

I have noticed a ticking-buzzing-vibration type noise when the motor is running around 2500 plus rpm. It does not sound like it is in the valves sounds more like in gear box area or injectors? Anyone else ever experience this?

How many miles on the bike?

The engine is known to make some injector noise, however the biggest culprit of engine noise is the cam chain tensioner (CCT)and cam chain on the right side of the engine. The cam chain itself is under the rt smaller cover on the right side. Once it starts rattling, it tends to echo thru out the engine.

Do a search, there's numerous threads on it.

I think the steering head bearings and the cam chain issues have been the most common mechanical failures for the FZ6.
