Ok, the book came in last friday and I started flipping through it over the weekend. I'm far from being done reading the whole thing, but here are my first impressions:
It's a pretty good book and it has LOTS of good info. You get good tips on a lot of motorcycle related topics (how to choose a bike, what's best for carrying cargo, etc...) and it also covers the basics of motorcycle evolution throughout the last 50 years or so. It's very easy to read: everything is clearly explained and there's lots of pictures too, which shows it's clearly aimed towards new riders or people who are trying to get into touring. So the only down side I found so far is that if you've been riding for a while, you most likely won't learn anything new...
