I had a CB400 SF VTEC with more 100,000 KM without a problem.
I've changed the swingarm from S1 to S2 today. Not a simple job but not too hard also. Takes 5-6 hours though.
The order of uninstallation is:
1. Rear fender
2. Rear brake caliper
3. Rear wheel
4. manifold to take out catalysis
5. catalysis
6. rear shock bottom bolt
Dirt coming out
After a quick cleaning with kerosene.
Drive chain laying down in kerosene for a couple of hours.
Comparison of S1 and S2 swingarms, total weight of S2 is around 1kg less i guess.
Used some greas oil before repacking.
At the end.
Not too painful but time taking. You'll need 27mm socket for uninstalling swingarm shaft. It's a 120nm bolt, a long racher is needed, and a torque wrench would be useful.
Other than that, it's easy.
