Awesome scenery! How were the temps?

Cliff and I did some runs on Palomar yesterday. It got hot real fast!

PS: Like the iPhone in the mirror pic!

Thanks Bryan!

temps weren't bad actually... but we were on the road at 7:00am, and got to the beach (where it was 15 degrees cooler) pretty early in the day :)

Few more pics from the end of the ride:

Ended up @ Belmont Brewery for a very late lunch (including 2 pitchers of IPA :D)... this was the view from our table:

Hey thanks for the invite dudes. :Flip: I would have met you in Ojai for sure..

:D Just kidding, I eneded up having to work this weekend instead of riding so my wife can take me to Disneyland next weekend.

Thanks for the pics though, it's always great to to see your ride reports and pics, it's almost like being there. :D

I was expecting a picture of Wavex though when you said someone had to relieve themself.

Oh, and I like the way you rub it in at the end of the ride with the pics of the restaurant we had the NorCal/SoCal dinner at......

Hey John, we sat there in the sun for almost 3 hours lol it was almost as awesome as the ride itself :BLAA:

Will do!

This is the route we took:
Google map link

Very few motorcycles of any kind were on the road, except along the beach. Of course the 100°F temp may have had something to do with the lack of REAL riders yesterday.

Bunch of wussies for sure! :D

I remember going down a twisty mountain with absolutely NO-ONE around, perfect temps, the taste of espresso still in my mouth and looking down at the clock to see 7:50am :D Right away I thought of a French saying we have that goes: "the World belongs to those who wake up early":cheer:

Great pics and ride!

Bryan and I headed for couple of sprints up and down the tight side on Pally and the riders were surprisingly sparse. I guess because of the weather. It was much hotter in Ramona.

Would anyone know if that road (Ojai) be open during mid December from Frazier Park?

I always make an annual trip to LA around that time and this would be a route I might take this year. Last year, ACH was closed (snow) and I had to turnaround and go back:(

Kenny: I bet it'll be open, especially that they want a mild winter this year... Cali Rider would know better than me though :)

Cliff: any pics of your ride? Did you guys do "Zuma" as well?

Those are some of the cleanest pics I've ever seen. Even makes CaliRider's bike look brand new. In fact, I think the pics are better than actually being there. 'N no way!
