They were the eat semi-solid bags I could find, and crazy cheap too. How much did your givi kit set you back?

Not too bad. I think it was around $400 Canadian for the side rack, bags and adapter kit. I've had the Shad topcase and rack for a long time now, and that was relatively cheap too.

My setup: '05 FZ6, Givi FZ351 topcase rack, Givi PL351 tubular sidecase holder, Givi e470 topcase and Givi e41 sidecases. Total cargo volume = 129 litres (a little more than 1/2 of what a Smart Fortwo has - 221L)

"baby got back"

:rof::rof: I almost took one of the cases off when I pulled in for fuel the first time! Forgot to add the extra width :D

When I went to my stealership to buy a new motorcycle cover to fit over the whole setup, the salesman was joking about how "she's kinda wide in the hips" making it difficult to find a cover...

Still, I can take the bike anywhere now, and my wife gets to bring the kitchen sink too! :BLAA:

Hello, I want to show you my bike and encourage you to buy my glass - GIVI 440D. It's about 19cm higher than standard one and wide so the wind isn't blowing on the hand. With standard glass i've got comfort speed about 90-100km/h (50-60miles/h) now it's ca.130km/h(80miles/h). I very recomend you this glass. When I ride slowly, according to regulations I've got fuel consumption under 4 litersPB/100km (=1 gal petrol for 60miles), with speed ca. 80miles/h - 4,7 litersPB/100km (=1,20 gal for 60miles). I travelled altogether over 1000 miles form Poland to Slovenia (riding on the mountains - Tatry) (alone with 3 cases) and my average fuel consumption was on 4,2 liters PB/100km (1,10gal for 60miles). Here are sam few photos.
ps. sorry for my english.. :)

Just took a "quick" trip of about 1000kms last weekend. I just go my side cases so this was a test run. As expected they performed beautifully. The only problem was my tank bag. I scratched up my tank a bit from resting on the bag from time to time, so I think a tank-lock bag will be in my future!

Here's mine, with the rear case and a package roll the total volume is around 100 litres. This was more than enough for one person for two weeks.
