I have a favor to ask all of those who have installed my S2 speedo bracket.

1) What adjustment do you keep your bracket at?

Reason I as is because I can make it fixed which would run cheaper to make.

2) Quality: any complains or concerns? how sterdy it is, color, mounting points...etc.

Thank You :)

I'm in the process of finally converting to naked tonight, using your bracket!

The plan is to keep it close to the ignition, with it moved all the way in there is still plenty of room to put keys in and turn.

With the bracket moved out further away it just looks goofy.

+1 for fixed up close

As for quality/complaints go, the craftsmanship is OEM like. I've not ridden with it yet to see how it reacts to the roads but will follow up later this week once I figure out how I am going to hide/tuck all the wiring away!

I mounted one on a member's bike and although it was an awesome product, I thought maybe the material thickness could be bumped up to make more it a little more rigid.

I too ran mine almost all the way "in". You should make the mounting hole smaller though (mentioned this to you in PM when we were doing the prototype).
I think fixed approach would be just fine.

I bought Erci's bike and if it wasn't all the way in before, it is now. I don't picture myself needing to adjust it in the future. I also agree with Motogiro with bumping up the thickness a bit to minimize speedo bounce, although making it nonadjustable may firm things up enough.

Yes you did, and for some reason i thought i adjusted it, but i never did :idk:

+1 on thickness i thought id make it out of .075 14ga instead of .060 which is 16ga.

Thank you for inputs guys!

I agree with the thickness comments. I have mine as close to the handlebars as it will go as it looks best there. The only issue is it seems a bit flimsy as it bounces when riding. Great fit and finish though!
