Hey all,

I purchased a new one of the small plastic screw plugs that goes on the right side of the motor.

My question is how should I go about replacing the old one? For whatever reason I'm drawing a blank to if there is oil behind that plug. If there is should I replace this at an oil change when it's drained, or lean the bike over and swap it?

Thanks!

I've done this...And asked the same question prior.

There's oil, but not under pressure and a very small amount. The timing chain is behind this panel and is bathed in oil. You will probably just see a light coating or even a drop or two on the back of the old part when removed.

No worries at all. Remove and replace and go for a ride!
