power commander v maps needed

ive got the standard map for my bike but i need a tuned map without paying to have her tuned by a garage. anyone got maps or know where i can get one.

Wondering if the PClll maps are compatible with the PC V unit. Just in case, here's a map from my dyno'd 06 with 2 Brothers Racing exhaust, K&N filter with air-box mod.

Glockdoc on our forum also has a few donated maps....

nope it needs to be a .pvm file i think. ive tried that one and cant even get it to show in the open box so i dont think i can use it.

anyone got a tuned map for power commander 5. my bike has got k&n filter carbon can co cans with no baffels but i havent done airbox mod yet.

Just for giggles change the file extension name to .pvm and see if it'll open?

Maps are mod specific to be even close to useable on another bike. Also, there's no guarantee a particular map will work as good as it does from one bike to another.

What mods have you done on your bike, or is it still stock?

I agree there is nothing more specific than a good tuner. Unfortunately It expen$ive! It does improve performance, air to fuel ratios, and fuel economy (depending on tuning or previous map).

ive downloaded the pcIII software and copy and pasted the ratios but on the pcV the is a 15% throttel ratio so i had to make a guestimate on the values. took the bike out and no real difference. im starting to wish i had got the pcIII instead oh well im sure ill find a map one day.

You might find as more people start buying the V's instead that more maps are created
