My cavalier had one on it when i bought it, mines still there but I know a guy who does body work on cars and if its deep enough theres stuff out there like bondall.... paste that you put in the "cut" and it hardens, which can then be painted...
I know the one in my Cav is pretty deep into the metal so if i needed to fix that i'd have to use bondall or something... generics arent too expensive...
As for the paint, if its the origional factory color theres plenty of companies out there who make that color. If you can figure out what the color is (car companies tend to make them complicated like "amber gold" ) you should be set... Shouldn't be too costly to fix yourself, or even at a detail shop, always cheaper to DIY though! Hope this helps!
