Oil Fill Plug/Cap - what are my options

So my oil fill cap cracked today and I'm doing a track day at Infineon Raceway next weekend so I need the part relatively soon.

So there is OEM, I think there was a "billet aluminum" option out there for a while, Rizoma?, what else?

Anyone have one they want to sell me?

BTW, while I have your attention, anyone ever ride a KTM 950 Super Enduro R?

Ebay has some fantastic looking caps AND they are pretty cheap.

Defy, I had one of these for a while and it worked out well. The only reason I switched back to the stock one was because I had the blue one and it started to fade from the sun (cheap anodizing, I would assume). But performance-wise, it worked just as well as the stock cap.

Maybe try the silver? You wouldn't have to worry about fading that way.

I might just go with one of the "chrome" coated AL caps from eBay for $16 shipped. same price as the OEM ones.

All of the pre-drilled ones that look nice are $25 and up.

Do those replacements have the dipstick or are the just the cap with 'O' ring?

Just the cap with the o ring. The dipstick is seperate...and not broken.

If I can find it, you're welcome to HAVE it. LOL...seriously, I wouldn't dream of asking for money for something so small.

I'll have a look around tomorrow, and if I can find it, I'll let you know and send it out. I think I still have it.
