Front brake failed yesterday..its all soft and doesnt do what its supposed to do at all..hopefully i can get it fixed this weekend and get ready for next..

probably just blown caliper or m/c seal(s) or a loose fitment. It's a fairly simple system so you should be able to identify and correct the problem easily. Look for leaking flud :thumbup:

Thanks for doing all of the planning Wavex and CaliRider! I think we're on the verge of the largest SoCal FZ6 Forum ride in motorcycle history. :rockon:

Any San Diego peeps, we'll probably meet in Rancho Bernardo off the 15 to head up to the 76/15 meet up point. PM me if you're going to meet up so no one gets left behind. More specific location TBA.

Edit: San Diego Meeting Location: 15N, Rancho Bernardo Rd exit, take a left under the 15 and there's a Shell station on the left at W. Bernardo Rd. Meet at 9:50 to meet the rest of the group at 10:30 at the Mobile up north.

Thanks Nate, I did check 33 and 25 on Pashnit. Both got great reviews (except the boulders the size of washing machines on 33 LOL), but was just wondering about the temp on 25. Looks like an area that gets hot this time of year.

Got my GPS installed and wired up. Getting a new rear tire, changing the oil, and putting my 16t sprocket back on this week, then I'm ready to roll!

Whew! I was just going to ask you if we were going to have to rely on my old "map in the tank bag" method of navigation Travis. Now if we get lost along the way I can just blame you.
Got my cables lubed yesterday and I'm at work for awhile today trying to get everything caught up for next weekend. :thumbup:

I can hardly believe it's almost here! :BLAA:

I'm stoked! I just got done prepping my bike up...lubed chain and adjusted the tension, cleaned brake pads (the rear has been needing it, there was some debris wedged in there), drove through someone's bubble gum last week so that was a nice mess to clean off the fenders, installed a SpeedBleeder and bled the rear brake, torqued some fasteners ... blah blah blah. I'm ready, th only thing in the way is work this week.
