My first oil change...

Some days we were not meant to get out of bed LOL. Least the bike didn't fall off the center stand while doing the filter.

I managed to crack the sump during my first oil change. I also broke the filter wrench and generally spent an hour or so getting oil everywhere until I finally got the b*stard off.

Now I use a screwdriver to get the old filter off - hammer screwdriver through the filter and turn it that way. Easy but messy.

I also managed to get cooland all over the garage floor last weekend.

i'll have to take a picture of my oil wrench.. looks more like those old ice block tools... you know.. with the 2 ends that hold the filter.. works very very well... i think i picked it up at autozone or pepboys.. dont remember...
