Sad to see such a nice car so poorly treated. Have seen many folks at track days in very powerful cars stomp on the gas and then exit the track in a dramatic fashion.

When thinking about the difference between his truck and the Lambo, let me see 0-60 in a week versus 4 seconds. Oops he is doing 100mph where he could previously do 15mph, now that I have the speed what do I do now QUICKLY - oops.

Have that problem in reverse when get into the cage - stomping the gas but nothing's happening.

Add to the fact that the car was outfitted with summer performance tires!

As a side note, he has decided to sell the car after it is repaired because he has other debts and responsibilities AND....wait for it......he CANNOT afford the INSURANCE or the TAXES...not to mention he has yet to have it serviced.
He also stated that he isn't sure how much to sell it for because he can't find values for it online (Kelly Blue Book??). :shakehead:

On CNN they had him quoted as saying that he was driving the speed limit, and that he hit black ice during his one joyride. He said that he even had buyers lined up ... how sad for him.

Still, he can (and should) fix it, or sell it as-is. Then he can cover his (income) tax burden and still have some leftover.

I'm right there with you I hate me too, I respect them for what they are but I would never own one. I like the story about how Lambo started the guy told Ferrari that he fixed his car because his wife kept burning the clutch out of it so he put one of his tractor clutches in it and Ferrari hated him for it, so he decided he could build a better car and did and that was the so called beginning of Lambo
