I use a spreadsheet with date, mileage, what was done, and what parts were used. I also take pictures and keep all of this in a electronic file. I try to make sure that if/when I do sell my bike, there will be no question what and when mx was done to the bike.

I also print a copy of the mx schedule and check off the items that I complete. Once I'm done with that, I scan it in (making an electronic copy) and attach it with the other mx files for that particular mx event.

It's a little time consuming but well worth the effort.

My high tech service and maintenance log is in the form of pencil-written scribbles on the notes page of the owners manual! :ban:

However, I do like the idea of keeping a spreadsheet and some pics so I may have to start one up!
