Lights out

I have an 07 FZ6. I was behind someone at a stop light and noticed in my reflection that my head lights were flickering as I revved my engine. The previous owner installed a BD43 Dual Low Beam Headlight mod. The (low filament?) on the high beam side was the one flickering. I could tap on it and it would come on but the go back off while riding.

Eventually I could only make that light come on if I switched on high beam. Then that light wouldn't come on at all soon after the other light went out as well. The lights don't look blown to me. Worked fine last year.

Thoughts? Short? Bad ground?

Could just be a bulb going bad.

I noticed on mine that the plug actually comes loose every 2 weeks or so (600+ miles) and it will flicker. I just bent the prong on the bulb and it solved it for like a year....

Is the left low beam flickering as well? If it is both the left and right bulbs flickering, then you may have a loose connection in the harness under the airbox.

Probably the filament in the bulb.
