A very proud day today tinged with great sadness. Whole generations of young men & women who gave their lives so that we could live in peace.

Our local news did a story last night with an Aussie Mosquito pilot that was in the sky over Normandy on D day & he was recounting the vivid memories he had & the emotion he showed all these years later was very moving !!!
