People will be riding up your rear, perceving that you are going too slow if you have a 3 sec gap.

Those people are morons. Don't they realize they're not on the last lap of a NASCAR race $1,000,000.000 1st place finish or something? Why do they get all "wrapped around the axle" just because somebody else is driving defensively with a 2-3 second cushion? They just end up being another lousy/overconfident driver and a nuisance putting themselves and others at risk. It's as if they think they can quaterback w/o ever having thrown a ball. No wonder we always see these stupid rear-end wrecks due to tailgating idiots. Glad to hear you're okay Fazer.rider---thanks for the story.
