  • lol the rep button is below the nickname in someone's post (in a thread)... check the small icons at the bottom. No need to give me rep for giving rep though :D
    Hi!

Directly translated, it means: "you should be very welcomed", or in other words: We welcome you over:)

It's snowing here now, but it's about 0 degrees and it's slush all around, unless you're above 2-300 meters. The skiing conditions should be quite good in the mountains at the moment!
It's newer too cold here :),- remember we are Vikings by breed
As long as there is no salt on the roads I'm riding :)
hey there, I don't have the Ottimoto rearsets, but my understanding is that they are a direct replacement to the OEM unit. No modifications necessary.

    Hi Gerry.
Nice to know that someone in the forum will understand the strange Danish language. If you ever come to Denmark, please let me know. I might be able to help you one way or the other. SO: ha´ det godt. Vi høres sikkert ved frem over.
Oh, I see. Yeah, you got it right :) I actually live in Norway. I just happen to have an American father which means I can have a dual citizenship. If you like skiing you should definitely come over sometime in january/february. Should see decent amounts of snow by then. However I think taking in the country is more enjoyable during summertime. Hopefully we'll get a better summer than this year.. Wasn't too great to say the least.
Det går bra:) Hvordan går det med deg? May I ask why you've decided to learn Norwegian?:)
Sorry took me so long, I don't really get a chance to get on here much anymore. Nope it is not sold yet and I really need to sell it, if you know of someone let me know!

Not the best for sure but I have gone on some short ride with women, and even a man lol... women were "OK" (they were not big/heavy), but my friend is 6'1" 200lb and that was a bit much lol
    Thanks :)
Maintenance: oil/filter every 4k miles. Easier to do than on the FZ6.
No chain so no maintenance there. Belt is warrantied for life. No expensive valve adjustment ever since the valves are self adjusting.

I have 8k miles on my Buell now and could not be happier :)

Let us know if/when you get it!!!
Wow! that is great :D Ja I want to learn Norsk is because I'm from a Chinese family but my grandmother on my mother's side is from Oslo. She tried to each me Norsk but I was never interested. She passed away a few months ago so I want to learn it as a tribute to her.
Jepp, jeg står på ski (I do ski, both alpine and cross country) :) That's correct, we do have some pretty awsome ski resorts only a few hours away from Oslo. Remember the olympics in Lillehammer? Hafjell and Kvitefjell are the places I've been to most often, but also Hemsedal and Norefjell (located in a different valley than the other two) are nice. And not to forget Trysil;)

But I got to ask: Why are you learning norwegian? Got relatives here?

Nope, I don't play the guitar. I am pretty much tone deaf:D Capo is a result of my connections in Italy, you see:) It's short for Capitano.

You should give me a heads up if and when you're coming over. I live only a few km's from Oslo (actually between the airport and the city), and used to live in the city centre for six years. I know a thing or two about it, so if you need a guide, I might be able to help you out:)
Edit: I found this, allthough it's nowhere near Oslo:

    About us

And that's about it. I can't find anything else...

    Cheers,

    Andreas
Hei! Jeg har det bra:) Hva med deg?

What I'm impressed about, is that you actually have the letter "å" on your keyboard:D

Where in Canada are you from? I got a few allmost-relatives in Vancouver. Anyway; If you're planning on coming to Norway in the near future and ride a bike, I'd suggest that you should come very soon! Winter kicks in around late October, at least that's when I'm winterizing my bike...

Bike rental... Hmmm... Actually, I don't know of any bike rentals in the Oslo area. I tried to do a search, but nothing came up. This could be a good business opportunity for me, 'cause even this didn't return any results either:

Interest: Motorbike rental - Norway official travel guide - visitnorway.com

It's a shame and it's embarassing. Norway has never been a country for those in love with anything with a motor in it.
Hei igjen. How nice it would be to meet you Gerry. Are you going here on vacation?
What date are you arriving and where in Norway are you going to visit?
    My name is Morten.
