Dear FZ6 enthusiasts,

This has been discussed before, but my question is a bit more specific - I recently purchased a Motion Pro chain alignment tool and I used it when reinstalled my rear wheel after tire replacement.

I noticed that when the gauge indicated an aligned sprocket/chain, that the left side is at 3.5 notches whereas the right side is at notch 4.5.

If I align the rear axle on the same notches for both sides, the chain alignment tool will show that the rear sprocket is off by about 1/8".

So, how far off are your marks - just curious...?

Actually, I feel like an idiot, as I miscounted

The sprocket side is at stop #4 whereas the disc side is 1/16" over stop #4

So in reality, they're not that far off... My bad...

In any case, the chain alignment tool is pretty slick, as it makes a visual alignment quite easy.
