Great to hear about the awesome ride, despite the tire issue. How did you like the new rear tire. Grip? Road Noise? Wear?
Well nice to see you got back safely.

So far, the Z6 is excellent. It's a dual compound, like a reversed Tootsie Pop. Hard on the center with a chewy outside.

I was able to lean just as far with the Z6 as with the stock Battleaxe. And after a 1000+ mile ride home, it's still nice and round. in profile.

Yea the DC tires are the way to go. My next set will be like that. My roommate is running the Pilot Roads and loves them. I wasnt aware the Metzler has a set out now. Might have to look into them.
