I would like to ask those who have done this conversion and those who have just done the -1 conversion

I had gotten a -1/+2 520 conversion as a gift, but i dont know whether to make the new chain to a -1, +2, or a full -1/+2 conversion. i was warned about it being too much of a gear change and 'over stressing the engine" (SV650 owner :spank:) Although, i am still curious/slightly cautious.

How much of a change in the RPM is there.

At the moment, in 6th gear, the speedo reads 70 mph at 6k rpm and 60 at 5200rpm.

What RPM is needed to go 60 and 70 mph in 6th?

make sure to let me know what conversion you have done

I've done the -1+2 and love it. The bikes should have come stock like this. It makes it accelerate like a puresport. It gets you past 8000rpm faster and thats where you want to be.

my bike runs the same ( 64mph @ 6krpm) also burns a bit more fuel too. prob not the best if you are commuting everyday. but it sure does get up and go a lot more! I'd go for it jazz. Good luck for the rest of your tour.
