Watched them uncrate it and put the first 2 miles on it at the dealer. Bought it 3 weeks ago.

I thought it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Paid $3850 for my 2006 Blue FZ6. Got it with 5119 miles and it had been dropped once, but only a few scratch marks on it. Pretty good price for what I had seen in VA. I've only added frame sliders to it so far to keep any future drops to a minimal damage.

= bike +Tax, tabs, title fees, crate charge=($800 to assemble? ouch) helmet, and some crap called data dot that is supposed to have some digital codes for police on 180 some parts if stolen and parted out. Sounded cool at the time, like a cheap lo jack solution. But that crap they used to cover the numbers is like finding glue drops on 180 some places on my bike, that crap sucks.And I paid for it, woo hoo.

I bought mine in January at the International Bike Show.. they had brought the MSRP down by 3300 (its usually only 2300 off) on the '07s

Got the bike for 6100, add in tax, delivery (middle of winter), set up and doc fees and I was $7099 OTD

I live in Canada, Barrie Ontairo to be exact, I got my 2007 just this past summer (July 2009) for $5250. Now in Canada the list price for an 09 is about $9300 or so. The guy I bought it from bought it new and had no time to ride, so my 2 year old FZ6 only had 332km on it.

Could not pass up that deal.

$3000 cash for a 2004 in awesome shape and 13k miles. Guy was going through the whole "I'm moving in 2 weeks and my wife is pregnant and does not want me riding" series of unfortunate events. Had my certified mechanic check it out, said everything on it was in good condition and they guy took care of it. Came with belly pan and puig windscreen.
