Ok so I bought a headlight unit off eBay for 20bucks.

Just got it today and the inside reflectors are not the same as mine. When I bought the unit it said 07-09...

so my question is will this headlight unit fit my 09? I have no idea what year this one came off of the seller didn't state

The first picture is the bought headlights
And the second is the 09 one

The headlight you posted looks just like the one on my '09 FZ6. Where did the seller ship from? U.S. bikes might come with different reflectors then ones sold in other countries.

The first picture looks like the shape of maybe an FZ1 or maybe even an FJR 1300? It doesn't look like the other fz6 shaped headlamp assy's
Edit: Does it have any numbers on it you might be able to cross reference?

It doesn't sound like you did bad at all. 20 bucks for a headlight housing?? that's ridiculously inexpensive. And if you are using it for a projector headlight would it really matter if the reflector pattern is different? since a projector unit doesn't reflect at all off the reflector

My problem isn't the reflector though, its if the housing would even fit.. and I was concerned because the reflectors were different
