Handle bar question

Hi guys, i am sure this has been done to death, i want to try changing my bars for the suggested FZ1 but cant seem to find a set of used ones....

So what are the alternatives....there seems to be a few suppliers of such things as Renthal etc, but how do we compare and decide on the right ones as you cant really "try before you buy"?

What do others have apart from FZ1 bars.

Also, what is the difference between the FZ6 and FZ1 bars to look at?

Any help would be much appreciated

From what I've read here, the FZ1 bars are straighter, not as much a sweep back, but are slightly more forward (due to not as much sweep).

You should be able to get a new OEM bar for a decent price, probably cheaper than an after market..

Fz6r bars on mine. Do a forum search for what you're looking for and you'll get more information on the topic than you probably care to know. There is already an abundance of threads on this with great details.
