And I'm not really sure what the he!! I did here.
I went into a corner, I knew I was going in a bit hot but never felt like I was outta control or out of my lane...I just heard this scraping noise....
looked when I stopped and saw I had done this to my skid plate! yikes!

Yeah but that's an honorable scuff. Jeep used to have a brochure with the colors that the wrangler came in and they pictured a wrangler in each color they offered. The last picture was the Jeep covered in mud for it's color.... :) It looked so good!!!!
 
Great pics Brenda, thanks for sharing. It looks like an amazing ride, I'm so jealous of people living near this kinda scenary, wow.

I'm going for a Ride in Germany (Teutenburgerwald) tomorrow but I have to ride 2 hours just to get to the meet point on the border :(

This time of the year already!? I'd better saddle up soon, though maybe colors are later here in SW CO Bet you don't have any chicken strips! What kind of bike is that anyway?

Damnnnnn I keep forgetting you're in Durango! We were just there round the 1st part of the month! (our fav part of the state btw)
And I do have those chicken strips, well, because I'm chicken! And believe me, it was a real "WTF" moment and unintentional.
I bought a factory low suspension BMW 700GS in April. Glad we decided to put that skid plate on it now.

I know, right!?!? Those switchbacks are the tightest I think I've ever ridden and I love the fact that it's all paved now.
We rode it before it was all done and they had some really soft dirt down...hated that part.
