Nelson Rigg saddle bags seem to get good reviews. They are almost as good as the Cortech saddlebags, but half the price. They have a lifetime warranty, too.

I read a review on them from a FZ6 owner, he said that it didn't fit well on the FZ6 and the rigid inserts ripped through the seams when he was installing them...

they fit fine for me, but i am not riding with a passenger so it's easy to get any saddlebags to fit.

bummer about the seams. mine looks well constructed. it does have a lifetime warranty, though.

I agree with the reviewer that the rain covers look like they might fly off.

Ah my bad, the review I read was for the CL-900 mini bags I was looking at, not the Cl-1000.
