I have a 2006 FZ6 and need to replace the fuel pump. The original (5VX-13907-01-00) part is obsolete, I saw on another website that it was superseded by 5VX-13907-02-00 which is off a 2009 FZ6, but looking further into that years parts another part number is also listed (20S-13907-00-00) for the CA edition. Which one do I need to go with?

I'm just gonna throw this out here but you could go the guinea pig route and pay $20 ~ 40 or buy new and pay $250...

In short, you can replace the electric pump and basically not buy all the other stuff that's not bad. The electric pump is in itself a pretty standard part....

Take a look here: pictures, details and specs.... http://www.600riders.com/forum/showpost.php?p=579362&postcount=2

I was thinking about that too. I did get frustrated with the fuel pump housing, trying to take it apart was not fun for me, but should be easier the second time around.
