Hey guys. I recently crashed my FZ6 2006 and damaged the front suspension, I have been looking if I could fit a showa or something like that, but I haven't been able to find any product that will fit the FZ6.

Do you guys know any brand of front suspension that will fit a FZ6 2006?

Sorry to hear about the bike - hopefully you are well and sustained no injuries!

So, keep on eye on the forsale section and post an ad in the WTB section and hopefully someone will see your need and be able to help you.

Specific to upgrades - nothing bolts straight on w/out some adapters or modifications. That said, several of us are on older R6 and R6S forks. Get used the search function and look over the stickies in the tech section.

BTW do you know if the forks of a 2007 will fit a 2006?

Yes and NO. Yes they fit, but you need the calipers that come with them. The S2 version 07 -09 (GenII) and perhaps the fender IDR :don'tknow::don'tknow: have a fixed 4 pot caliper per side. The S1, have a floating caliper. Although some have "Thrown" different versions on there, they DO NOT ALIGN with the disk.

The good news is both are dime a dozen and pretty much any R6, R6S before inverted fork and radial mounted calipers fit. You need the lines that go with them.

So -
07 - 09 FZ6 Forks fit, need S2 calipers (check on fender)
but if you're spending coin, just upgrade to the adjustable fork.
03 - 04 R6 forks fit (I have them), grab calipers (check on fender)
04/05 - 09 R6S same as early R6
