Lookit what I have back!!! Looooong 3.5 years, I had almost given up hope!

Still have to put the fairings back on, get a new mirror and give her a bath before she is photo ready.
Needs a new chain, battery, full flush and a check over before she is road ready!
Probably won't get her fixed for a month :( Might have the bike but I still have no money lol

Okay...Now you can officially change out that "Nuttin Honey" !

:wav: Congratulations! :wav:

:cheer::cheer: So happy for you Steph! :cheer::cheer:
Start pinching the pennies and you'll have her fixed up in no time :Sport:

Nice to see you've got the best colour!

Did you paint those accent pieces above the headlights yourself?

Looks god!

Cheers,
Rick

So unfreakin'believably happy for you Steph :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I'd be so tempted to hop on & run around the block a few times :D It must be killing you to have her sitting there waiting.....

well I wasnt on the forum when the two of you were kept apart but it is with much pleasure that I see you reunited, thats a pretty happy grin you're wearing
congrats

Yep, but the accent pieces are actually the windscreen, stock. One of my favorite things I have done to my bike for looks. It was my first paintjob and I am still thrilled by the look of it. I have a better picture to show the effect.

With the headlight eyebrows makes it look like angry Johnny 5 (Short Circuit). :D

Now that I have taken a look at my bike in the daylight, I'm a little sad. She isn't the immaculate bike that I left. Here's some pictures of the damage. And I am wondering why the heck the gas cap has been changed...I prefer the stock one that locked instead of that plastic one.

Rust around the gas cap. :(

Without getting into my sob story lol...A nasty domestic situation... I beat feet while my bike was in storage. Took my kids and a small uHaul worth of stuff. He has had the bike since.

i dont like getting in others business, but it sounds like you did it right, keep the family out of harms way. material things, although nice, are replaceable

fix her up and ride her like you stole her!

So happy for you Steph,
Those are minor blemishes. Not going to spoil the enjoyment of riding again.
Does she start?
