Well this past weekend I went on the first "big" group ride. By "big" I mean it was only about 20-30 bikes. This one was for raising money for local special olympic teams. It was an awesome day of riding, weather was perfect, even though it's just basically bar hopping on bikes. Made about 5 stops throughout the day which was perfect. 30-45 minutes of riding with 30-40 minutes at each stop.
I wasn't the only non-cruiser there, there was a couple guys with a Bandit S and I believe an R1. They didn't seem too eager to talk to me though when I was checking out their bikes...
Photos are not mine; they are from the organization's Facebook page.
I'll start out with the SQUID of the day. t-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, and safety glasses:
I fit right in with the group!
Nice picture of me and the gf
Was also a good day to win prizes! I'm usually not this lucky!
The gf and I are hoping to do a lot more of these this summer and coming summers.
