Just got home from an overnight trip to the Oxley Hwy.
What an amazing road.
We stayed at Gingers Creek ( where the C marker is in the attached image ) and did a couple of runs up and down the Hwy.
It wasn't without incident, one guy went offroad and down the valley, another lost the rear then highsided. That was Saturday.
This morning as we headed out two guys found some diesel on a corner and ended up in the bush.
No-one seriously hurt, just broken pegs and fairings (everyone ATGATT).
Everyone rode home (after some bush mechanic fixes).
Covered over 800k's in 24hrs and loved every minute.
The FZ6 did us proud, there was 2x FZ1, R1, CBR1000R, KTM 1190 RC8, Aprilla RSV4, VFR800 and a Suzuki Hayabusa.
The only time I got left behind was on the long straights.
Had a great time and thought I'd share,
If I get hold of any vid's I'll try and get them posted.
