Mine.

hemi.jpg

The '64 Dodge 330 426ci Hemi.
Mopars road legal Drag car.Rated at 425 hp (for political correctness ;)) When put on the Dyno, the truth was closer to 600hp.
Aluminium bonnet, wings, bumpers. No radio, carpets, backseat, ashtray, sun visors, underseal or sound deadening.Magnesium front wheels. They even fitted it with one windscreen wiper to save weight!!

The upshot- 0-60 in 4 seconds and 11.7 over the standing quarter

Staggering performance from a car that rolled out 46 years ago and one that looks so unassuming

My grandpa's 1968 Olds 442 :) He passed away in 1981 and my uncle took ownership of it. It's sitting in a garage somewhere in Chicago. My uncle restored it years ago and is storing it. I wish I could have it :D I don't have a pic handy, but it looks something like this...the blue one in the pic.

The Olds 442 is one hot muscle car and probably my 2nd favorite of all time. I had a next door neighbor years ago who collected Oldsmobiles and restored a cherry '68 442. That being said, I had a friend in high school who had a 1967 GTO that slayed everything around at the time. I'd still love to have one of these..

Oh, and the mighty GTO Phase III, even if it is a Ford.

I'm a big fan of aussie muscle myself. for the old muscle car I have to go with the Ford Falcon XB. I love the Mad max Falcon but the one that Eric Bana owns and his love for that car in Love The Beast is to great.

and for modern muscle I love the holden commodore Bathurst edition

Mad Max drove an XB coupe, the night rider had the 2 door Q

Oh yes you are correct! Fortunately there's not a single Ford bone in my being :cheer: Carn Holden! I just love the smell of these old cars too (inside) reminds me of being a kid!

Actually, I make one and only one exception to my dislike for all things Ford. This car - my Dad drove one around Nth America when I was but a bubble in his beer. I have whistful day dreams about doing that like he did one day...
