I took off on Thursday and went for a nice day ride to the driftless zone in western Wisconsin. I met up with my cousin who lives in St. Paul. We had a beautiful day!! Rode around near Tomah and headed for Wildcat Mountain State Park.

Me.

I know some pics are grainy, the sun was not exactly cooperating. It was a perfect day around 75F and hardly any wind. I logged around 330 miles.

And I just realized I put this in the wrong section. Trying to do too many things at once. :tard: Mods feel free to move this to the touring/traveling section if needed.

It looks like a great time of the year to take a ride and catch the fall colors. Thanks for the great pictures. It kind of looks like Oregon but flatter. That's a great day riding.

You should post this picture in the bike of the month contest...

Excellent photos!! I ride that area almost weekly during the summer.. I'm actually looking at a section of property in Soldiers Grove, which is listed on the Kickapoo River map in your photos.. :)
